This year’s Happiest Couple on Campus

France’s current star team Paris Saint Germain saw it all this weekend – a goal, beers, parties, an argument, and even the hospital.  On Sunday, PSG secured the Ligue 1 title after defeating Olympique Lyonnais 1-0 with a goal from Menes.  This is PSG’s first League 1 title since 1994 and the third in its 43-year history.  Naturally, Ancelotti’s men were very happy lads.   Continue reading

After 26 years of coaching English futbol giants Manchester United, 71-year-old-gum-chewing-master Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement. Fergie had spread a similar rumor back in the 2001-2002 season, which backfired, and he vowed to never do it again. Let me jump straight into business here. The referee was the instigator this time. Not just any instigator, but THE hardcore instigator. The drama brewed in the pitch, overflowed to the post-match press conferences, and crossed the Atlantic Ocean all the way to The Stilettos of Fútbol.
